Traditional Chinese Medicine, a unique system to diagnose and cure illness, focuses on achieving health and well-being through the cultivation
of harmony within our lives. It is based on the Chinese concept of Qi (Chi), translated as vital energy, and the theory of yin and young,
the harmony of all opposite elements and forces that make up our existence. It is believed that harmony brings well-being, good health,
and disharmony leads to diseases and illness.
Typical therapies include acupuncture, herbal medicine and qigong exercises. Treatment is accomplished by stimulating certain areas of the body. Herbal medicine acts on organs internally. Qigong restores the information
flow inside the network of energy channels and blood vessels inside the human body, regulating the vital energy.

This easy and very effective qigong exercise can be practiced indoors or outdoors, but make sure to choose a quiet environment with good air circulation. Avoid practicing outside at times of severe weather, thunderstorms or strong winds.
Throughout this qigong exercise use abdominal breathing. Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth, using your diaphragm and the full extent of your lung capacity.
The movement of your diaphragm will expand your lower abdomen during inhale and contract your lower abdomen during the exhale.
Begin by practicing the first 3 movements. After mastering these 3 movements, proceed to the next 3 movements in addition to the first 3. Add movements to your exercise in increments of 3.
You will be able to master all 18 movements within a week. You should start to see some results if you practice this exercise on a daily basis for 3 months. Just follow the instructions and practice daily.
